Spanish national team coach comments on Brahim Diaz’s decision to represent Morocco

Luis de Lafuente, coach of the Spanish national team, spoke about the decision of Ibrahim Diaz, star of Real Madrid, to choose the Moroccan national team.

De Lafuente said in a statement: “I fully respect his position. Everyone must make the decisions they need to make, and they are free to choose what they see fit.”

He added: “But I have always said that there are three constants in wearing the Spanish jersey: firstly that you are ready to play for the national team, secondly that he wants it and thirdly that the coach l ‘calls. »
