Luis de Lafuente, coach of the Spanish national team, spoke about the decision of Ibrahim Diaz, star of Real Madrid, to choose the Moroccan national team.
De Lafuente said in a statement: “I fully respect his position. Everyone must make the decisions they need to make, and they are free to choose what they see fit.”
He added: “But I have always said that there are three constants in wearing the Spanish jersey: firstly that you are ready to play for the national team, secondly that he wants it and thirdly that the coach l ‘calls. »
He added: “The most important thing in all this is the desire to represent the national team without demands or conditions, and with the same rights and obligations as others.”
