Under his presidency, the club obtained 65 titles and recovered the aura that it had during its first glorious era. Florentino Pérez should most likely be re-elected for a new term until 2029.
For his next mandate, as AS points out, the president of Real Madrid has 3 clearly defined objectives: start the Unify League, change the club’s legal model and ensure that the Bernabéu hosts the 2030 World Cup final.
Florentino Pérez determined to start the Unify League
In relation to the Unify League, now formerly the European Super League, it cannot be ruled out that it will begin in 2026. A22, the company promoting the project, has made a request for official recognition of the competition from UEFA .
As for the legal model of the club, the members will remain owners of the club but by owning shares in the latter. Finally, although the Bernabéu is favorite to host the 2030 World Cup final, it will be in competition with the Casablanca stadium and the Camp Nou.
