Participation of Morocco by Mrs. Nadia FETTAH in the Meeting of the Council at the level of Ministers (RCM) of the OECD

The opening ceremony of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) was launched by the Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mr. Mathias Cormann and the Japanese Prime Minister .

In her intervention during the first session, Ms. NAdia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, recalled the important steps taken by Morocco in the construction of the social State, under the High Guidelines of His Majesty , notably the Royal Social Protection project, as well as the major advances made in promising sectors (green energy, automotive, etc.) and in international and regional integration, particularly African.

On this occasion, Ms. FETTAH held a series of bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the OECD and senior officials of the Organization, as well as with several ministers and representatives of international and regional organizations. Several topics were discussed, as part of strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation in different areas of common interest.

The theme of RCM 2024, chaired by Japan and co-chaired by Mexico and the Netherlands, is “Creating the Momentum for Change Together: Leading Global Debates with Objective and Reliable Approaches to Support Sustainable Growth and inclusive”.

This meeting offers member and non-member countries the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions on the decisive issues facing the international community today.
