The begging phenomenon has become one of the daily familiar scenes from most streets in Moroccan cities.
There is no discussion among citizens, except for the growing propagation of the phenomenon lately, after their suffering because of the objection of this group in their path in various places.
In large streets and markets and in front of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as in the doors of banks and public transport, the citizen found himself trapped by a number of beggars who lock and embarrass him a certain number on their help.
This action is no longer just a request for help, but rather transformed into a disturbing source which constitutes a threat to the personal security of citizens, and raises questions on the reasons and the reasons for the propagation of this phenomenon and the ‘Absence of the authorities concerned to resolve and fight.
A certain number of citizens have described this category as a “new road sector”, after having taken the begging of the streets so that they take advantage of the emotional extortion of passers -by – intercepting their path and forcing them to help them with unacceptable methods.
Will the authorities intervene to put an end to this group and fight the phenomenon before organizing international demonstrations?
