Talbi El Alami at the inauguration of the President-elect of Chad


The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, represented King Mohammed VI at the official inauguration ceremony of the elected President of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.

The official investiture ceremony took place in the capital N’Djamena in the presence of heads of state, heads of government, presidents of Parliament, ministers and head of delegation, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Chad, as well as several other personalities.

During this ceremony in which the Moroccan ambassador to Chad, Abdellatif Erroja, also took part, Mr. Talbi El Alami conveyed to President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno the congratulations and greetings of King Mohammed VI and the Sovereign’s commitment to collaborate hand in hand for the development and stability of the African continent.

King Mohammed VI sent a message of wishes and congratulations to the President of the Republic of Chad on the occasion of his election to the supreme office of his country.

In this message, the Sovereign expressed to Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno his warmest congratulations and his best wishes for every success in his noble mission.

“By showing you their confidence in this essential stage of the democratic transition process, the Chadian people have demonstrated their recognition for your commitment to defending their supreme interests and realizing their aspirations towards greater progress and prosperity,” the King wrote in this statement. message.

President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno won the presidential election with 61% of the vote.
