Security authorities have ordered hotel establishments in various cities across the kingdom to waive the requirement to present a marriage certificate for “bride and groom” wishing to stay.
According to informed sources, security authorities have instructed hotels not to require their guests to present a marriage certificate to welcome them.
Additionally, security authorities have ordered hotels to allow women to stay in the cities where they reside.
It should be noted that several hotel establishments reacted to the statement of the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and announced the cancellation of the requirement to present a marriage certificate.
Ouahbi expressed opposition to the requirement to present a marriage certificate to stay in hotels, highlighting the illegality of the practice.
