RS Berkane has managed to qualify for the final of the CAF Confederation Cup despite its defeat (0-1) against the Algerians of the Chabab Sport Constantine, this afternoon, at the Chahid Hamlaoui stadium in Constantine, in front of a large audience
The CSC scored its only goal at the start of the second half in the 47th minute by Abdennour El Housseini on a head following a corner, which was not enough for the locals to go up the handicap of the 4 goals conceded in the match “Go” to Berkane
Also, despite several attempts to try to score, the solidity of the defense of Berkane and the brilliance of goalkeeper Munnir El Mohammadi prevented the Algerian team from making a “comeback”.
After this “positive” result for the RSB, the “Orange” team continues its continental career by reaching the final for the fifth time in its history, where he will meet the Tanzanians of Simba, who also qualified at the expense of the South African team of Stellenbosch.
Dates of the final:
– Fuel match: Sunday May 17, 2025, Tanzania (Simba Stadium)
– Return match: Sunday May 25, 2025, municipal stadium of Berkane, Morocco
The RS Berkane will have a new historic opportunity to add to its continental list a third trophy by facing Simba, in search of the first continental title in its history.
