Benmoussa: 493,000 candidates for the baccalaureate exams this year.

The Minister of National Education, Preschool Education and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, unveiled the new features of the baccalaureate exams for the 2023/2024 school year.
During his response to questions from parliamentarians in the House of Representatives on Monday, Benmoussa indicated that the number of candidates for the baccalaureate exams this year stands at 493,000.
Among these candidates, 373,000 are registered students, of whom 87% are in the public sector and 54% are girls. In addition, 55% of candidates follow international courses.
Depending on the sectors, the minister specified that 73% of students continue their studies in scientific and technical sectors, while 26% are in literary sectors.
