Gaza: Morocco highlights the importance of the proposals presented by President Biden

The Kingdom of Morocco, whose Sovereign, King Mohammed VI, chairs the Al-Quds Committee, underlines the importance of the proposals presented by the President of the United States of America, Joseph R. Biden, aimed at promoting the establishment of a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, access for humanitarian aid, protection of civilians, return of displaced people, as well as reconstruction of destroyed areas, indicates the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad.

The Kingdom of Morocco “hopes that the various parties concerned will adhere to this initiative and commit to implementing its different phases”, specifies the ministry in a press release.

“Morocco continues to believe that lasting peace in the Middle East inevitably requires a two-state solution: a Palestinian state, on the borders of June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, living side by side with an Israeli state », concludes the press release.
