Heba Press – Casablanca
A certain number of “Dallas” market dealers in the Al-Hassani district of Casablanca have expressed their dissatisfaction with the way in which their file is processed by local authorities, demanding that practical alternatives be provided before any decision linked to the release of the public domain inside the market.
Zureik, one of the merchants affected, said in a statement on the “Heba Press” website, which the market has been suffering for over 40 years of negligence and bad infrastructure, because almost 19 fires have been witnesses in recent decades, in addition to the daily suffering of traders, whether in summer or winter.
The spokesman stressed that the authorities are surprised today by draining requests from the public domain inside the market, although certain areas have been controversial were the subject of previous negotiation with the original owner, adding that “the disputed place was not originally built, and the question of negotiation in 2002 was with its owner known as the traction”.

Zureik has held the responsibility of the authorities concerned, given that talking about the release of the public domain without providing clear alternatives to traders is “an indirect invitation to migrate to other illegal professions”, stressing that “many have been working on sale in a way organized for decades”.
Zureik stressed that traders did not oppose any organization for the organization or emptying, provided that a real alternative and a real alternative, revealing the will of the merchants to contribute to the financing of alternative projects, in particular by contributing to the acquisition of terrestrial spots or to the creation of new markets on the periphery of the previous city.
The spokesman concluded his statements with an explicit invitation to the employment worker in the Hassani district to intervene and find a participatory solution that takes into account the circumstances of the merchants, while stressing that “the vast majority of merchants do not bother not to be subject to the organization to the organization.
