President Donald Trump commented the video, which aroused generalized controversy on social networks, in which Brigitte, the wife of French president Emmanuel Macron, appeared as she paid her face while they were getting out of the plane during an official visit to the Vietnamese capital Hanoi.
During a press conference held in the White House, Trump received a question from journalists to find out if he had matrimonial advice that he provided to Macron, and he stopped for a moment before answering with a smile: “Make sure to keep the door closed”, describing the incident as “not good”.
“It was not good. No. I talked to him, and he’s going well, and they’re fine. They are really great people, “added Trump, noting that he and his wife Melania spent a lot of time with the French president and his wife on a number of official opportunities.
For his part, the French president Emmanuel Macron reduced the importance of the video and told journalists after his propagation: “There is a clip that shows me and I joked my wife, and in a way, it turns into something similar to a global geological disaster, while people are starting to weave the theories that surround him.”
The video sparked a wave of great interactions on the internet, and it was reported by international media, in the midst of comments ranging from ritualism and political analysis, before the two parties were published with declarations confirming that the relationship between Macron and his wife is fine, and that what happened was in the context of family jokes.
