The newspaper has learned from reliable sources that the governor of Safi province, Mohamed Fattah, dispatched a committee from the governorate headquarters before noon today, Saturday, to the village where "Mme Hasbiya" resides, who is living in harsh social and humanitarian conditions on the outskirts of the city.
The same sources confirmed that the committee arrived a short while ago in the Ghayyat commune in Safi province, where urgent assistance is expected to be provided, such as immediate shelter that preserves her dignity, as well as emergency medical care. A video had previously circulated on social media showing an elderly woman who lived her childhood and youth with her family, before life turned its pages, finding herself today in a place closer to a cave than a dwelling befitting a human. Darkness, lack of water and electricity, and absence of the most basic conditions for cleanliness and dignified living.
