Heba Press – Muhammad Zaruh
The world football scene had an exceptional evening with the coronation of Paris Saint-Germain with the title of Champions League, after its big victory over Inter Milan with five unanswered goals. This historic victory confirms the rise of the Parisian team at the European summit for the first time.
In the midst of this mass enthusiasm, rumors have spread to social networks that Nasser Al-Khulifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain and president of the “BN Media” group, intends to open the “BN Sports” channels for free for viewers for a full year as a gift for this success.
But rumor is not recently, because it was previously broadcast in 2020, in collaboration with the arrival of Paris at the Champions League final against Bayern Munich, where alleged statements were allocated to Al-Khalifi about the opening of channels free if the crowning is made.
On the other hand, no official authority of “BN Media” or Paris Saint-Germain Club has published a declaration confirming these intentions, which confirms that they are only rumors which are widely disseminated in social media platforms.
Certain sources near the management of channels have confirmed that distribution rights are a very sensitive file, and it cannot be easily sacrificed, especially since the opening of channels directly affects financial yields.
Consequently, the public must be prudent and not be attracted to these rumors and rely only on the official data issued by the parties concerned, to avoid confusion.
The experience of past years has confirmed that such rumors can be used for marketing or promotion objectives, but they rarely turn into a tangible reality.
In the end, the sporting of Paris Saint-Germain remains the most important event, which deserves to be celebrated with all its details far from the unjustified media.
Pending more official developments, football fans remain at an appointment with the follow-up of the Parisian team-in their next career, impatiently to reach more success.
