Aziz Akhannouch represents the King at the emergency humanitarian response conference in Gaza.

The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, arrived today Tuesday in Amman to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the high-level international conference on the emergency humanitarian response to Gaza, which is being held in the Sea region Morte (40 km south of Amman).

This conference, organized by Jordan, Egypt and the United Nations, under the theme “Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza”, aims to identify ways to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.

According to the organizers, the conference will be marked in particular by the presence of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, as well as leaders and heads of government from more than 75 countries, in addition to representatives of humanitarian organizations and international financial institutions.
