The criteria for the price of the top scorer
The price of the top scorer, presented by Bank of America will be given to the player who scored the greatest number of goals during the competition. If two or more players have scored the same number of goals, the number of assists (as determined by the FIFA technical study group) will be used to decide between players.
If two or more players are still tied after having taken into account the number of assists, the total number of minutes played in the tournament will be used to decide between players, the one having played the smallest number of minutes placed in front of the others.
