Construction continues on the new terminal at Rabat-Salé International Airport as part of an expansion plan aimed at strengthening the airport’s infrastructure.
The Facebook page “Projets et chantiers au maroc” published a photo, which it claims depicts “a view of the construction work on the new terminal expansion of Rabat-Salé Airport.” The page, specialized in reporting on Moroccan projects, added that the airport’s annual capacity will increase from 1.5 million passengers to 4 million passengers after the completion of the new terminal. The project aims to improve service quality and facilitate travel, providing modern facilities that meet passenger needs in terms of comfort and operational efficiency. This includes expanding waiting areas, adding new boarding gates, and upgrading security and customs facilities to meet international airport standards.
