CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations and Egypt 2024 Qualifiers Schedule Confirmed

The 14 nations vying for a place at the CAF African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 had their qualifying matches officially confirmed on Thursday June 13 as CAF conducted the official qualifying draw for the competition which will take place in Egypt this year. .

A total of 14 nations will be entered in the qualifiers which will take place in a home-and-away format to decide which 7 nations will join the tournament host country, Egypt, in the final this summer.

The first leg of the qualifiers will take place from July 19-21, with the second leg and final match scheduled for July 26-28.

Senegal, the reigning African champion, will begin the qualifiers against Guinea, who will play their first participation in the CAF Beach Soccer CAN.

Angola, who are also looking to qualify for their first CAF Beach Soccer CAN competition, will face two-time bronze medalists Morocco.

Other key fixtures to watch include a West African duel between Ghana and Ivory Coast, while Burundi and Malawi face off in an East African battle for qualification.

Seychelles, hosts of next year’s FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, will look to secure a place in Egypt before hosting the global competition in Africa for the first time.

They will face Mozambique, hosts of the last CAF Beach Soccer CAN, which will be a difficult mountain to climb for the islanders.
