Morocco has achieved a significant advancement in the Business Sophistication index for the year 2025, according to a report issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Cornell University, and the European Institute for Business Administration (INSEAD).
According to the report, Morocco ranked 68th globally with a score of 28.8 points, thus registering a large leap of 57 places compared to last year's ranking, where it was in 125th place globally with a score of 14.2 points. This progress is a positive indicator of the improvement in the innovation climate and the development of the business environment in Morocco, reflecting the efforts made at the level of public policies, support for entrepreneurship, and the strengthening of institutional infrastructure.
