The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Wehbi, acknowledged in an interview with Al Arabiya channel that managing public affairs remains a complex task that is not without errors and challenges, while emphasizing that the government has accomplished major reforms despite the difficulties.
Wehbi explained, "Anyone who runs the administration of power is fundamentally mistaken, what is presented at times may be correct," adding that political responsibility requires acknowledging failures and working to overcome them. The Minister of Justice pointed out that the government has taken several important steps, including generalizing social and health coverage, and launching reforms and transformations in a group of laws, but in return he questioned: "Have we met the direct demands of the youth? Are there issues that have slipped from us?". Wehbi stressed that the government will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the situation, confirming: "We are accountable to the people because they voted for us, and we are also accountable to this political force, whether organized or unorganized." He concluded by saying: "It is natural for us to appreciate things, and if we make a mistake, we have the courage to say we made a mistake and correct things."
