The Governing Council follows a presentation on the execution of LF-2023

The Governing Council, meeting Thursday under the chairmanship of the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, followed a presentation on the execution of the finance law (LF) for the 2023 financial year, the development of the draft law finances (PLF) for the year 2024, as well as the three-year budget programming 2024-2026.

Presented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, this presentation reviews the evolution of the international and national economic situation during the first six months of the current year, the execution of the FL at the end June 2023 and the end-of-year forecasts, in addition to the three-year budget programming 2024-2026, indicated the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing held in the outcome of the Council.

Furthermore, the Council examined an Agreement for the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments between Morocco and Sierra Leone, concluded on April 28, 2023 in Dakhla, as well as Bill No. 31.23 adopting the said agreement, presented by Mr. Baitas, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita.

According to the minister, this agreement aims to promote investment capable of contributing to sustainable development and to strengthen technology transfer, job creation and interaction between the public and private sectors.

To this end, each party undertakes, in accordance with its laws and regulations in force, to promote and create favorable conditions for investors for the realization of investments in the territory of the other party, he specified. .
