HIBAPRESS – Chichaoua
The surroundings of the slaughterhouse affiliated with the market of the Had Majat commune in the Chichaoua province have turned into a point for the accumulation of slaughter waste and offal, leading to the spread of foul odors affecting the visitors of the market, which is frequented by residents of the region and neighboring mountain villages.
The situation has raised questions about the management conditions of this facility, as the vicinity of the slaughterhouse and other points in the market have become known for the accumulation of garbage and slaughter waste. There are demands for the intervention of the concerned authorities to assess the situation and address the recorded imbalances.
According to informed sources, a joint committee is expected to visit the market to inspect its condition and prepare a report on the matter to be submitted to the governor of Chichaoua province, pending the outcome of this visit and the measures taken to address the situation.
