Within the framework of the high royal care that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, gives to the health sector, as it is a basic pillar for achieving social justice and regional development, the Taounate region is witnessing an unprecedented dynamic in strengthening the health infrastructure and bringing services closer to citizens.
The second-level health center in the village of Ba Mohamed comes at the forefront of these qualitative projects, as it is an important developmental gain that embodies the royal care for the residents of the region, and reflects the strong will to improve the conditions of access to treatment and improve health services. The project, which was completed through fruitful cooperation between various actors, including regional authorities, local and regional elected officials, parliamentarians, and with the effective support of civil society فعاليات, is a model in institutional coordination and developmental selectivity. The governor of Taounate region followed all stages of implementation in the field, حرصاً on bringing this facility into existence in the best conditions. All construction and equipment works have been completed, as the center has a modern infrastructure and advanced medical equipment that enables it to provide various services that include general examinations, follow-up of chronic diseases, maternity and childhood services, and emergencies, for the benefit of the residents of the village of Ba Mohamed and the surrounding areas. However, this important health achievement awaits the completion of its final phase, which is to provide qualified medical, nursing and technical human resources, until its services are activated effectively and officially inaugurated in the near future. In the same context, the region is preparing to inaugurate a group of new health centers that will enhance the local health offer, including: The first-level health center of Moulay Abdelkrim, the first-level health center of Jbabra, the second-level rural health center of Bouchabel, and the second-level urban health center of Ba Mohamed village. In addition to other centers under preparation for inauguration, such as the first-level rural health center of Tabouda, Ouled Daoud, Basabsa and Wadi Qasba, in addition to the rural dispensaries of Ain Maatouf and Ishtoum. These structured projects constitute a qualitative shift in the health system in the Taounate region, and are in line with the high royal directives aimed at achieving regional and social justice, and making the right to health a basic pillar of citizen dignity and sustainable development.
