A circulating video showing a Moroccan content creator mocking a Thai young woman sparked widespread reactions on social media, after the clip addressed the young woman's appearance in an insulting and unacceptable manner.
Journalist and media personality Ridouan Ramadani reacted to the incident via his Instagram account, where he wrote: “Bravo to the youth who contacted the Thai hotel and sent the video with the translation, let's see what the law says there.” He added, the behavior of the bully has officially apologized, after matters almost developed into a more dangerous direction, affirming his appreciation for everyone who contributed to the rehabilitation of the Thai citizen. He added that the incident is documented with photos, but he preferred not to publish them out of respect for the affected person and those who are in the position of “his daughters”. This incident serves to remind content creators that freedom of expression does not mean harming others, and that adherence to laws and ethical standards is a necessity in the digital communication world.
