The investigative authorities in Egypt decided on Saturday to authorize the burial of the remains of a child who was brutally murdered by his classmate (13 years old), after the forensic medicine completed the autopsy of the body.
The crime shook the Ismailia Governorate in eastern Egypt during the past few days, after the security services were able to solve the mystery of finding human remains of a child distributed in different locations. The shock was discovering that the killer was the child's classmate who committed the crime in a brutal way and cut the body into pieces. The accused child, "Youssef," confessed that he played the role of the hero in a foreign film he watched recently and decided to use the method he saw with his classmate to get rid of him. He explained that he took his classmate to the new station area in Ismailia city, hit him with a wooden stick on his head until he died, and then continued the chapters of his heinous crime. The accused child said that he used a sharp tool "electric saw" to tear the body of his classmate into small pieces so that he could carry it and get rid of it in his school bag, then transported it and threw it near Carrefour Ismailia to hide the crime. In a confession that shocked the investigators, the accused said that he ate part of the victim's flesh and described its taste as "similar to the pane." The security services found the remains in several locations in the Carrefour area, including an area behind Carrefour, in front of Carrefour, under the Carrefour bridge, and in a pond in the area, and other pieces in an open land area, and a piece of the remains in the fishermen's lake. The accused demonstrated his crime before the investigating authorities at the crime scene, and they ordered his detention in one of the care homes for 7 days, to be presented again after the end of the period to consider renewing the detention order.
