A person died and another was injured with varying degrees of severity this Sunday morning in a three-wheeled motorcycle overturn accident that occurred in the Dar Hamran area, in the Beni Ouassine district near Tangier.
According to preliminary data, the causes of the accident were due to a sudden malfunction in the braking system while the motorcycle was descending a steep slope, which caused the driver to lose control and the motorcycle to overturn violently. It was loaded with household furniture.
Following the incident, the driver was transferred to the regional hospital Mohammed V in Tangier to receive necessary first aid, while the passenger's death was recorded at the scene.
Upon reporting the accident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and local authorities arrived at the scene, where they inspected the site and opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution to determine the circumstances of this tragic incident.
