He also mentioned the under-17 national team's victory in the continental title in Mohammedia last April, considering this achievement a strong incentive to continue excelling in the upcoming World Cup. Lekjaa urged the players not to settle for participation, but to strive for the best results, with commitment to a collective and organized playing style, and to exert maximum efforts to honor Moroccan football. He confirmed that the federation will harness all possibilities to ensure the best conditions for the team to compete for the title. For his part, Nabil Baha, coach of the national under-17 team, stressed that the main goal is to replicate the achievement of the Moroccan under-20 football team, which recently won the World Cup, stressing that the ambition is great to achieve a distinguished participation. As part of the preparations for the World Cup, the team will undergo a preparatory camp in the United Arab Emirates from October 21 to 30, 2025, which will include two friendly matches against the Venezuelan under-17 football team on October 25, and the Swiss under-17 football team on the 29th of the same month. The Moroccan team will play in the first round in Group B alongside the Japanese under-17 football team, the New Caledonian under-17 football team, and the Portuguese under-17 football team.]
