The coach of the Argentinian national team, Lionel Scaloni, sent a moving message to the youth team (under 20 years old) after their loss in the World Cup final in Chile, against the Moroccan under-20 team with a score of 2-0.
Scaloni said in his message: "We are very proud of you," adding: "We have… youth, desire, feeling, motivation, discipline, struggle." The coach thanked all members of the mission and officials of the age groups in the Argentinian federation, specifically mentioning Bernardo Romeo, Diego Placente and his technical staff, and the players "for what they offered in this World Cup," concluding his message with "Come on Argentina!". Scaloni, who previously led the youth team, confirmed through this message his full support for the training path, despite losing the World Cup final, and showing his commitment to giving the first team a chance to play for those who deserve it from the rising generation.
