The day before yesterday, Spanish interim Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Marrakech with his family for a private vacation.

Many Facebook pages have circulated images documenting the tour of the Spanish Prime Minister, accompanied by his family, on the Jamaà El Fna square in Marrakech, with a tour guide.

The Spanish agency “Effe” confirmed that Sanchez’s presence in Morocco had nothing to do with any political or diplomatic activity.

According to the same sources, Sanchez broke the traditions of recent years for heads of government, who usually spend their vacations at the royal palace of La Marietta (island of Lanzarote).

Pedro Sanchez is expected to return to Spain to begin consultations with a number of parties close to the Socialist Party, to form a new government, after it became almost impossible for the Popular Party to form a government alone or with Fox.
