The Egyptian judiciary has closed the case of defamation against the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, after the Economic Misdemeanor Court acquitted her due to insufficient evidence.
The case was scheduled to be decided on October 9th, but the session was postponed due to the "October Victory" celebrations holiday. This judgment is a new breakthrough for Sherine, reinforcing the stability of her legal situation after a series of judicial disputes that occupied public opinion in recent months. In a step supporting her artistic path, the court rejected the appeal submitted by the company "Rotana," which gives her complete freedom to launch her new works and collaborate with any production company she chooses, without restrictions. With this ruling, Sherine regains her ability to focus on her creative career, confirming her strong presence in the Egyptian and Arab art scene after a period of legal challenges.
