Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby has settled the controversy surrounding her marriage in recent days by officially announcing her relationship with Egyptian producer Ahmed El Ganaini, after the widespread spread of a document said to be their marriage contract via social media.
Menna clarified in statements to Egyptian media that she had indeed married several days ago, confirming that the marriage was officially documented. She added that she preferred not to announce the matter at first to protect her privacy, especially in light of the difficult health conditions her mother is experiencing, which prevented a wedding ceremony at the moment.
Pages on social media had circulated a photo of a marriage document attributed to the actress Menna Shalaby and the producer Ahmed El Ganaini, which sparked widespread controversy among the public, before her statement came to put an end to the speculation and confirm the accuracy of the news.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmed El Ganaini is one of the most prominent producers in the Egyptian art scene, while Menna Shalaby is considered one of the most present and influential artists in Egyptian cinema during the last two decades, as they had professional cooperation before, which developed into an official relationship.
With this announcement, Menna Shalaby joins the list of stars who have chosen to keep the details of their private lives away from the spotlight, preferring to announce the news at the appropriate time and in a way that respects their privacy and the lives of their families.
