His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Alassane Dramane Ouattara, on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
In this message, His Majesty the King affirmed to the Ivorian President, "It gives me great pleasure, following the trust you have received from the Ivorian people by re-electing you as President of the Republic, to send Your Excellency my warmest congratulations and my sincere wishes for your complete success in your lofty duties, convinced that you will continue with all vitality and determination to serve Côte d'Ivoire and its brotherly people." Furthermore, the King's message stated, "It is a pleasure for me to continue working with Your Excellency to further advance the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, which constitutes a unique model of cooperation between two African countries that share the same belief in the values of brotherhood, solidarity, and mutual appreciation." His Majesty the King added, "While I renew to you my great pride in these distinguished ties, I assure you of my constant readiness to continue our joint work for a more ambitious cooperation that will bring great good to our peoples and serve the prosperity of our African continent."
