The father of a young man who died at Moulay Abdellah Hospital in the city of Sale has directly accused the hospital administration and medical staff, pointing out that the way his son's health condition was handled was the cause of his death.
The father said that his son was in good health and studying for the baccalaureate before his condition suddenly deteriorated while he was in the hospital. The father explained in a statement to a media outlet: "My son had studied for two hours and went home, and at night he got a fever, and we brought him here to the hospital." He added: "They gave him an injection and he died, as he had an allergy and they did not deal with him correctly, the one who gave him the injection was just a trainee." The father accused the medical staff of not providing the appropriate treatment, pointing out that the diagnosis and the procedures followed were not accurate, which led to his death. The victim's father demanded the opening of an urgent and impartial investigation to determine responsibilities and hold any negligent person accountable, stressing that this tragedy has left a profound psychological impact on the family. He also called on the health authorities to strengthen medical care procedures and ensure accurate follow-up of patients to avoid similar incidents in the future.
