Futsal Atlas Lion Khaled Bouzid Joins FC Barcelona


Khaled Bouzid, the player of the National Futsal Team, has joined FC Barcelona in Spain.

Khaled Bouzid returned to the Catalan club after leaving five seasons ago for Santa Coloma.

Born in Barcelona, ​​Morocco international Bouzid, 26, who plays as a right winger, played for the Catalan club as an under-19 and won the La Liga title twice in 2015 and 2017.

Bouzid then won the La Liga title with Barcelona’s youth team in 2016/17.

In the summer of 2019, Bouzid joined Santa Coloma with the aim of making his debut in Serie A. Five seasons later, he gained experience in the elite leagues to become a more experienced, complete and decisive player on the offensive plan.

Last season, Khaled Bouzid scored 19 goals in 26 matches for his club.

Bouzid played for the Morocco national team at the 2021 World Cup in Lithuania and is expected to be one of the most important names on Morocco coach Hicham Dkik’s list for the upcoming World Cup in Uzbekistan in September.
