The Moroccan Foundation for Innovative Diplomacy expressed its pride and satisfaction with the content of UN Resolution 2797 issued by the UN Security Council, which it considered a new confirmation of the firm international recognition of the Moroccan identity of the Sahara and renewed support for the autonomy initiative put forward by the Kingdom of Morocco as a realistic and permanent solution to the regional conflict.
The Foundation affirmed in its statement that the latest UN resolution consecrates the validity of the Moroccan approach based on realism and consensus, and highlights the credibility of Moroccan diplomacy, led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, characterized by firmness, calm, and innovation in defending legitimate national issues. The Foundation praised the sound royal diplomacy, whose foundations were laid by His Majesty the King, considering it a model to be emulated in combining historical, legal, and developmental and national legitimacy, and relying on an innovative strategic vision that gives priority to field action and efficiency in achieving national goals. In this context, the Foundation highlighted the autonomy initiative presented by the Kingdom of Morocco years ago, describing it as an innovative and courageous proposal that embodies the spirit of openness and settlement, stressing that the new UN resolution reaffirmed the status of this initiative as the only realistic option that enjoys increasing support from the international community. The Foundation considered that Resolution 2797 represents the culmination of a long path of serious and innovative royal diplomatic work, and confirms the justice of the national cause and the legitimacy of the Moroccan position based on the principles of mutual peace and respect for the unity of the national territory. In conclusion of its statement, the Moroccan Foundation for Innovative Diplomacy expressed its great pride and sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory and support him, on the occasion of this "historic diplomatic victory" that consecrates the leading position of Morocco at the regional and international levels. The Foundation also renewed its loyalty and permanent mobilization behind His Majesty the King, affirming its commitment to continue working to consolidate national constants, defend the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, and enhance the radiance of innovative Moroccan diplomacy as a force of proposal, foresight, and peace in the world.
