Ahmad Touizi, the head of the Authenticity and Modernity party in the House of Representatives, said during a meeting of the Interior Committee, Territorial Collectivities, Housing, Urban Policy and Administrative Affairs, that the state, from the Ministry of Interior, has made great efforts in the Al Haouz region after the earthquake, stressing that what has been achieved on the ground reflects a strong and responsible mobilization from various state agencies.
Touizi explained in his intervention in the presence of Abdelouafi Laftit, saying: "The Ministry of Interior and the entire state have made great efforts in Al Haouz, and those people who want to gain votes on the back of the state and are promoting that the state is leaving people in tents and has done nothing, I tell them that I do not want those votes and I will say what is there, great work has been done by the state, and I am a son of Al Haouz and I know what I am saying." The head of the Authenticity and Modernity party affirmed that the state's efforts in Al Haouz were not limited to urgent interventions after the earthquake, but extended to the implementation of reconstruction projects and improving the living conditions of the affected population. Touizi also called for responsibility and avoiding the exploitation of tragedies for political purposes, highlighting that the stage requires unity and support for government initiatives aimed at rebuilding and sustainably developing the region.
