The Moroccan League for Human Rights called on the Algerian authorities to hand over the body of the second victim and release the other detainee.
The Human Rights Association condemned the assassination of two Moroccans of French nationality by Algerian soldiers, describing the case as “a heinous crime targeting the right to life as the most important human right” .
The League denounced the crimes committed by the Algerian army, which confirmed that its displacement triggered tensions in the region, threatened peace and security and fueled discrimination, racism and discord between peoples.
