HIBAPRESS – Sport
The local development company "Tanger Mobility" announced the official launch of the "Stadium Access" application website, a new electronic portal aimed at providing fans and users with real-time information about how to access the Grand Stadium of Tangier during major sporting events.
The launch of this site came before the opening match between Morocco and Mozambique, expected tomorrow, Friday (November 14, 2025), which will commemorate the reopening of the Grand Stadium after its comprehensive update. This site provides, according to a news bulletin in this regard, all the practical information needed to access the stadium with ease through a clear and easy-to-use interface. The application identifies public parking locations around the Grand Stadium and access routes directly from the main roads, and it also offers details about the free bus service that is allocated on match days to facilitate fan movement, as the buses provide round trips from external parking lots on the Rabat road, the Corniche, Merkala, the League of Arab States Square, and Riyadh Tetouan, and the high-speed train station at the stadium, to transport ticket-holding fans to the stadium and return them after the event ends. The site also offers alternative routes and diversion routes for drivers not heading to the stadium, to reduce congestion around the sports area during periods of high traffic density. The site also clarifies the temporary diversions and alternative routes that are activated in coordination with local authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow within the city on major match days. The "Stadium Access" portal initiative falls within the comprehensive strategy aimed at improving the fan experience and organizing movement during major sporting events hosted by the city of Tangier.
