Ismaël Bennacer, the Algerian national team defender, expressed his support for the idea of holding the Africa Cup of Nations every four years, noting that organizing it every two years has become repetitive, and that the new system is similar to the World Cup and the European Cup, which is logical and in the interest of the African continent.
Mandi also praised the quality of the stadiums and facilities hosting the matches of the current edition of the tournament in Morocco, considering the organization ideal.
Regarding his teammate Riyad Mahrez, Mandi said: “Riyad is our captain and his success in the tournament shows the extent of his responsibility and his carrying of the team on his shoulders,” adding that the national team combines experience and youth, and everyone works daily to enhance trust and integration within the group.
