The government council approved, on Thursday, draft decree number 2.25.687 as the special basic statute for Competition Council employees, presented by the Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni.
The Minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, the official government spokesperson, Mostafa Baitas, explained during a press conference following the weekly meeting of the council, that the draft decree comes to adapt the provisions of the current basic statute for Competition Council employees with the new developments of the provisions of Law No. 20.13 related to the council itself, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 41.21, on the one hand, and also to review some of the regulatory provisions applied to the council's human resources in a way that ensures attracting competencies and developing its management mechanisms, on the other hand.
