Sources close to the Amal Al-Arwi Sports Club football team have reported that the family of the late Oussama Hamham, who passed away after being shot by the Algerian navy while attempting illegal immigration to the Spanish coasts, has finally received news of the completion of the legal procedures necessary to transfer his body to Morocco after weeks of painful waiting.
Oussama, who held a distinguished position in the Amal Al-Arwi Sports Club, passed away in a tragic accident that still stirs a wave of sadness among his family and friends. The family confirmed in a statement that the funeral prayer will be held tomorrow, Saturday, November 15th, in the municipality of Tiztoutine – Ahrikatn, where Oussama's body will be buried in the Ahrikatn cemetery. Everyone witnesses the tragic situation the family is experiencing, and relatives and friends gather in an atmosphere marked by sorrow and deep grief for the loss of a young man who was in the prime of his life and had a promising sporting future. As the funeral approaches, the family appealed to those present and loved ones to pray for the deceased's mercy and forgiveness, and for his family to have patience and solace during this difficult time. The loss of Oussama has left a great void in the hearts of his loved ones, especially in the Amal Al-Arwi Sports Club, who saw him as a model of an ambitious and hardworking young man. On the other hand, several weeks passed before all the legal procedures were completed to transfer Oussama's body from Spain to Morocco, due to administrative complications related to documenting the body and conducting the necessary examinations. Despite this suffering, the family remained steadfast in waiting for the completion of the procedures, in the hope that they would be able to bid him a proper farewell in his homeland. This tragedy reveals the suffering of many young people who risk their lives in attempts to immigrate to Europe, and reflects a painful reality that encourages reflection on the deep causes of illegal immigration and the challenges faced by young Maghrebis in their pursuit of a better life.
