The city of Biougra was shaken on Friday evening by a serious assault on a local authority agent working in the leadership of Assafaa, after he was subjected to a sudden stab wound to the neck inside a cafe on Moulay Rachid Street, causing panic among the customers.
According to local sources, the cause of the incident is still unknown, pending the completion of investigations into the case. A number of those present intervened quickly to contain the situation and prevent the assault from escalating, before the arrival of the police officers who began their field procedures and were able to arrest the suspect in a short period of time. He was placed under the custody of the public prosecutor's office, awaiting the completion of the investigation into the motives for this criminal act. The injured local authority agent was transferred to the regional hospital in Biougra to receive the necessary first aid, while his health condition is still under observation.
