HIBAPRESS reported that the French newspaper "Ouest-France" confirmed that the Moroccan national team will compete in the Africa Cup of Nations at its "peak," after winning against Mozambique 1-0 in the friendly match held on Friday.
The newspaper highlighted, in an article published today, Saturday, that this victory marks the seventeenth consecutive victory for the Atlas Lions, as the Moroccan national team continues to improve its world record for consecutive victories at the national team level. The French newspaper added that this impressive streak makes the Atlas Lions prominent candidates to win the Africa Cup of Nations, especially since they will be playing on their home soil and in front of their fans. It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan national team broke the record for consecutive victories after its 1-0 win over the Congo national team last October.
