The Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Verona, Abdelilah Najjari, received on Wednesday at the consulate headquarters, the Moroccan runner Mubarak and Al-Ras, in honor of the athletic achievement he achieved after being crowned champion of the Verona International Half Marathon organized on November 16th.
And Al-Ras won this title after covering the race distance in one hour, 7 minutes and 31 seconds, ahead of a number of prominent local and international runners, in a performance that reflects the distinguished presence of Moroccan sports competencies on the international arena. During this reception, the Consul General expressed his pride in what the Moroccan champion had achieved, stressing that the successes of members of the Moroccan community in Italy remain a source of pride for Morocco, and proof of the qualifications and energies it possesses that are able to achieve excellence in various fields.
