HIBAPRESS – Essaouira
The National Security services in Essaouira, through the Tourist Police Brigade and in coordination with the Judicial Police Brigade of the Regional Security Department, have arrested a person suspected of involvement in the theft of a store specializing in the sale of local agricultural products in the old city center.
The arrest of the suspect came after receiving a complaint from the store owner stating the theft of a collection of local products of commercial value. Immediately, the security elements began their investigations and collected evidence, using surveillance cameras and monitoring the movements of the suspect inside the narrow alleys of the old city. The investigations resulted in identifying the suspect and monitoring his movements, leading to his swift arrest without any resistance, before being placed under custody pending the investigation supervised by the competent public prosecution. He will be brought before the judiciary in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
