HIBAPRESS
The Saudi capital, Riyadh, experienced an exceptional artistic night last Thursday, November 20th, as part of the Riyadh Season 2025 events, during the "Nights of Eternal Arts" evening, hosted by the Abu Bakr Salem Theater and organized by Benchmark Company.
The event presented the audience with new interpretations of masterpieces by great Arab artists, from Umm Kulthum to Abdel Halim Hafez and Najat Al Saghira, in a musical celebration that brought back to mind the aesthetics of classical theater and the splendor of timeless Arab performance. With the leadership of Maestro Amir Abdel Majeed, the participating voices created an artistic painting that transported the audience back to a time when Tarab was a school in itself. In a moment that carried a great deal of appreciation for his career and voice, the Saudi Entertainment Authority announced the honoring of Moroccan artist Fouad Zbadit, in recognition of his artistic value and his position as one of the most prominent voices that combined the power of Eastern performance and the sensitivity of Moroccan feeling. The honoring did not stop at the symbolic celebration, but also included a noteworthy announcement about the production of a new album for Zbadit in Marwas studios, a project that opens a renewed artistic phase for him and confirms the Saudi artistic scene's support for high-quality Arab voices. This honor also reflects wide Arab appreciation for Zbadit's career, and his ability to preserve the beauty of authentic Tarab in a time dominated by modern rhythms.
