The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, today, Sunday, cold weather with dense frost formation over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the Eastern High Plateaus during the night and early morning, with partly cloudy skies in the Saharan provinces of the Kingdom.
It is also expected to record locally strong winds in the northern Saharan provinces with local dust scattering. The minimum temperatures will range between minus 04 and 04 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, the Eastern High Plateaus, and the Rif, between 12 and 16 degrees in the Saharan provinces of the Kingdom, and between 05 and 12 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will see some increase or will remain stable in most parts of the Kingdom. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean front, and in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to rough along the Atlantic coast.
