HIBAPRESS – I. Elsmalali
The Moroccan artist Rachid El Ouali reacted to the wave of rumors that affected his family in recent hours, after the rumor of his father's death spread widely on social media, which led to his phone being flooded with calls and condolence messages.
In a video post he published with his family members, El Ouali expressed his displeasure at the circulation of the news without verification, saying: “May God forgive those who did not verify the news and spread it, causing thousands of calls, annoyance and anxiety. Shame on you.” He clarified that his father is in good health and has returned to his home in Akkari after completing his treatment period, which he spent in the artist's house. El Ouali expressed his appreciation to those who offered condolences with good intentions, adding: “I accept the apology of those who apologized… May God grant a long life to the father and mother.” He also prayed for the public to protect their parents and have mercy on the deceased among them. Rachid El Ouali's post received a wide reaction, between those who expressed their relief at his father's health, and those who expressed their solidarity with him in the face of false news that spreads without scrutiny, especially when it concerns the health of family members.
