The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports in Larache has decided to adopt distance learning exceptionally in the Ksar El Kebir community during the next week, against the backdrop of the exceptional weather and climatic conditions and the floods that swept the city.
The official statement clarified that the decision aims to ensure the continuity of learning and protect the safety of students, educational and administrative staff, noting that this educational pattern will be applied temporarily from Monday, February 2, 2026, until Saturday, February 7, 2026. The directorate added that digital education will be accompanied by the provision of digital resources and the necessary pedagogical support in coordination with the Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, with close monitoring of the implementation of this pattern and ensuring the continuity of learning. The directorate also confirmed that it will continue to monitor the situation and update procedures in accordance with developments in the weather conditions, and will keep the public informed of all developments through the official approved channels.
