Since his appointment as General Manager of the National Office of Electricity and Potable Water, after gaining the high royal trust, Tariq Haman was able to prove in a short time that he is the man of the moment par excellence. He launched a series of deep reforms that restored vitality and efficiency to a facility that is considered an essential artery for the economic and social life of the Kingdom.
Thanks to a clear vision based on good governance, transparency, and restructuring the administrative machinery, Haman initiated the renewal of the administration's blood by making a wide change that included a number of officials who had stayed in their positions for a long time, which negatively reflected on the pace of work and the quality of performance. This change constituted a decisive step towards establishing a new culture of responsibility based on competence, effectiveness, and linking responsibility with accountability.
In a short time, the results of this new dynamic appeared, whether at the level of accelerating the pace of strategic projects, improving the quality of services provided to citizens, or strengthening investments in renewable energies and water and electricity infrastructure. The strict approach adopted by the General Manager also contributed to restoring confidence within the administrative apparatus and consolidating the logic of competitiveness and creativity in management.
Today, the National Office of Electricity and Potable Water seems to be entering a new stage of development, supported by a committed leadership that understands the size of the challenges and works to turn them into opportunities to advance the sector and ensure its future security. This makes Tariq Haman, in truth, one of the faces that has clearly stamped the path of modernization within public institutions in Morocco.
