HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
The city of Kenitra has been experiencing a noticeable positive transformation recently, thanks to the field approach adopted by the governor of the province, Abdelhamid El Mezide, who has made his presence known through a practical and effective working style based on proximity, listening, and direct follow-up of projects.
This new dynamic has contributed to driving the wheel of development within the city and the province, by launching realistic initiatives to solve problems related to infrastructure, improving the quality of services, and addressing some social issues that have been the focus of residents' demands for years. Wide segments of Kenitra residents express their satisfaction with this new approach to management, confirming that the governor's presence in the field and his keenness to follow up on the open projects, formed a clear message that the current phase is a phase of work, listening, and results. A number of local actors have also praised the adoption of an approach based on coordination between various interests, strengthening local governance, and directing efforts towards citizens' priorities, which has restored confidence in the development process within the province. Kenitra residents hope that this positive momentum will continue and that this dynamic will be invested in achieving more projects that meet their expectations, and establish the city's position as a rising urban center at the regional and national levels.
